2014 sees Sydney hard rock band, Mad Charlie, bringing their hi-octane, no bullshit rock 'n roll back in the form of a brand new self titled EP, and it's about fuckin' time! Prepare for the sonic equivalent of a supercharged V8 being driven at 160mph by God himself who's been up drinking for days.
Combining elements of influences from both the classic rock legends through to today's current rock forerunners, the Mad Charlie boys have produced a killer EP demonstrating that while their music continues to progress and develop, their roots are still firmly embedded in solid rock 'n roll.
Recorded at St Rok Studio in Sydney during January 2014, this self titled release contains 6 tracks written within the last year that show a new diversity in the band's material brought about from the current lineup. The CD version also includes includes a cover of Rose Tatttoo's Nice Boys, which is popular inclusion in the band's live set.
